How many photographs should I use?The number of photographs you use depends largely on how long you’d like the video to be. Photographs are shown up on screen at an average of 4 seconds each. So let’s say, you’re showing your video to a crowd and want the length to be no more than 6 minutes, then you should pick out approximately 90 pictures.
What music should I use? Most people bring in the music from their own collection. However, if you’re stumped for suggestions, Sally Films has a large library of music you can browse through. Music we don’t have available can easily be purchased online.
How should I organize my photos?Organization is key to prevent a project from spinning out of control & becoming too expensive. Think about your montage in terms of how you’d like to see it on screen. Some people organize their photos chronologically. Others create different sections like “Friends”, “Sports”, “Family”. However you organize it, number your photographs on the back so we know what order to scan them in (be sure and use a pen that won’t run & stain the photograph it’s pressed against).
